Boarding Services at Rainier Veterinary Hospital Seattle

Let Rainier Veterinary Hospital provide some R&R for your pet. Ease your concerns about leaving your furry friend behind while you’re away, and let our qualified staff take care of your pet. We will provide your dog or cat with a safe, comfortable, “home away from home” atmosphere. We are happy to accommodate any special care or needs your pet might have. Just let us know when you make the reservation.

We provide such amenities as clean bedding and food and water bowls, but feel free to bring your own if you’d prefer. Toys and other personal items that are washable are welcome. We will administer any needed medication as well s follow your specified feeding regimen. (Alternatively, we can provide a high-quality diet and treats for no extra charge, although eating their own food tends to agree better with most boarded pets.) We also can provide your pet with a bath prior to pick up upon request.

All of our staff regularly check on each of our boarding pets to give them individualized attention during their stay. You have the added benefit of knowing that one of our clinicians will promptly begin treatment if your pet gets sick during his or her stay.

To keep all of our patients as healthy as possible, we require pets that are boarding with us to have a current rabies vaccination as well as be up to date on flea prevention, a current negative fecal, and other species-specific vaccines. All pets must have their vaccines and fecal updated at least 48 hours prior to drop off for boarding. Please call us at (206) 324-4144 if you have any further questions about the requirements before boarding.
