Our Kitten Wellness Program is designed to help get your kitten started on the right path to a long and healthy life. The first few months are a critical period in your kitten’s development, and we can give you the support and tools necessary to help him or her grow into a well-mannered, healthy cat. This support includes information and advice on nutrition, litter box training, and behavior.
A kitten’s vaccines must be given during a certain timeframe in order to maximally protect him or her. Vaccines should start at 8 weeks of age. We can further discuss your kitten’s vaccine schedule during your first appointment.
Remember, even adult indoor cats need vaccines throughout their lives; vaccines are not just for kittens. This recommendation is in accordance with the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) in order to best protect your pet, yourself, and society. Your cat may remain indoors at all times, but because other members of the family (including yourself) leave your home, we want your pet to be protected.
