My dog had a bump on her arm that she wouldn’t stop licking. We were concerned it could be something bad as it was bulging and got pretty large. We went in and Conrad was great at explaining what it was, how to take care of it and what to do if it comes back. I see why this vet has great reviews, the price was competitive and the staff was great.

We moved from another state and urgently needed a check-up for our cat. We chose this clinic because it’s close to home and has many positive reviews. Fortunately, our first visit went wonderfully. The clinic is very cozy and clean, and we were warmly welcomed at the reception.
A huge thank you to our doctor. She was very professional and polite. We hope our cat never gets sick again, but if something does happen, we now know where to go.

I was tired of my old vet and decided a change was needed. I am sorry I did t do this long ago! The greeting on the phone was so pleasant and even better when we showed up! The staff could not be friendlier and they loved on all the dogs. The Dr was competent and took his time and didn’t rush us at all! Seriously amazing place!! They do t try and rip you off like the other places. We have found our happy place for sure! A+++

We found ourselves urgently needing a vet for our sweet kitty over the weekend. Our regular vet didn’t keep weekend hours and I knew this wasn’t something that could wait (she wasn’t eating and seemed to be in pain), so I googled nearby vets who were open on Sundays and of the few I found that were close enough to home, after reading some existing reviews I felt like Rainier Veterinary Hospital was the best place to bring her. I’m so glad we brought her here! Dr. Kornmann was kind and gentle with her. When the issue turned out to be advanced kidney disease, he helped us try to treat that and bought us another three weeks of time with her. When we had to bring her in and help to end her suffering everyone was so kind and understanding. They really went out of their way to make the experience as comfortable for both us and Salsa as possible. They really went out of their way to provide excellent care every step of the way. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I found Rainier veterinary hospital after several other doctors had misdiagnosed my dog with "arthritis". Finally took him in to see Dr Beestman, and immediately upon examining him she told me he was exhibiting the symptoms of cancer.
She was right and he ended up being a three-legged dog for the rest of his life but he was very happy. I now bring my boyfriend's cat here and my new puppy-
There is a lot of kindness and care that goes into the treatment here. They are also very honest with you and gentle in delivering news. I can't recommend enough.
They also tend to be very understanding with timid dogs

Dr. Han helped my cat with a partial urinary blockage. They were able to take him in same-day and were professional, kind, and helpful. My only concern is one his catheter was taken out, they did accidentally leave a stitch behind, which makes me wonder if they may have missed anything else, but I know they must be busy and things happen. They were able to get him to pass the blockage and they gave me useful information on monitoring. The estimate they gave me for treatment was close to the actual total (estimated $1,300, ended up being about $1,690 including meds, 2 day-stays, catheter, sedation, exam, all of it).

Both of my cats have been going to Rainier Vet since they were kittens. It's easy to get an appointment. Kind and caring people work there. Even though we were there for something else, they noticed Jules was behind on his vaccines so I was able to update those in one visit!

I have only been bringing my pets to this place. The front desk ladies are always professional and kind. The vet staff are compassionate and friendly and they charge a fair price I love this place so much and oh they give a lot of treats to my babies

Visiting from out of town our tough dog got startled by a rabbit in our host’s yard and pulled a muscled while escaping!

I found the person on the phone helpful, and full of good information. We decided our situation was not an emergency and made a reservation for a following day.

The staff at the clinic was great. We needed anti-inflammatory meds. They didn’t guilt us into a bunch of tests or xrays. The exam and meds were reasonably priced.

I wish I had this clinic at home. It’s a good find! Thanks to all who helped us. Zigzag is doing great!

My sweet fur baby Bear received excellent care from everyone at Rainier Veterinary Hospital! He needed dental surgery for periodontal disease and team was kind, compassionate, and obviously skilled at what they do. The VT text you at the start of surgery, and when they finish; and the surgeon called me post-surgery to share details and post-surgical care. The cost of surgery ended up being less than the estimate and the 10 day post-op check-up is no-charge. I am grateful that they helped my sweet little guy feel better!

I have an ancient old cattle dog and Rainier Vet has been the best vet for care for him. They are so thoughtful and patient with us...he isn't an easy patient! I really value their expertise and compassion for my old man. I highly recommend this veterinary office.

Lovely staff, very informative. We have 6 pets at this vet and they all feel as comfortable as they can when they're at the docs office lol

We cannot recommend this facility enough! We had an elderly dog and have been in for frequent visits, phone calls, questions, medication and finally to say goodbye to our beloved furry family member. Each and every person we came in contact with at this clinic was compassionate, went above and beyond, kind, and knowledgeable. We have been impressed with them from our very first visit and thank them for all they did for our beloved dog.

My sweet 6yo cat Olive had never really had any experiences at the vet until she ended up needing a very extensive surgery to remove some tumors in her mammary glands. I did a lot of research having never seen any vets in the Seattle area before and eventually chose Rainier for Olive's care. The whole team treated her (and me!) with such kindness and they are always excited to see her, and they were very clear and informative about her prognosis, the surgery recovery process, and the next steps we should take if the tumors ended up being cancer. They did an excellent job with the surgery itself, even spaying her at the same time so we didn't need to go through two separate surgeries, and afterwards when she tore open part of her stitches they saw us at very last minute notice to check the incision site and provided additional antibiotics at no cost. Luckily she ended up beating the odds and her tumors were benign but even if the worst case scenario would have happened I would have trusted no other vet clinic to care for her after the amazing experiences we have had there so far. They are very transparent about pricing and I have never felt like they are charging me extra just because they can. Every single doctor, vet tech, and receptionist I have encountered there is always pleasant, helpful, and happy to see Olive come through the doors. Would recommend to anyone looking for a skilled, reasonably priced, and compassionate vet clinic!

I love Rainier Vet and cannot say enough good things about them. The staff is so kind and attentive, and very thorough. I always know that my dog will be in amazing care with them. From puppyhood to 8 years later and several hospital stays and procedures, they have always come through for us. My dog loves going!. Thank you for being a trusted resource for our family.

They got my dog in pretty quickly when I needed a more urgent appointment and everyone was so nice and welcoming from the front desk to the doctor. My dog has very high energy and everyone was good with him especially the doctor. The doctors presence almost seemed to calm my dog down and gave us a great experience and calmed our worries. I will definitely be bringing my animals here now.

Olivia at the front desk was so helpful with check in and check out. Everything was simple, clear, and quick. In our exam room, Tiny took amazing care of my pup and was so good with my dogs rambunctious antics. Tiny went above and beyond for us by even making sure to get ahold of my dogs previous records when I didn’t have them which saved me time and money. Dr. B was really thorough in explaining treatment for my dogs chronic itching and all pricing was upfront, comprehensive, and clear. I just moved to the neighborhood and am so happy to have my dog in Rainier’s and Dr. B’s care.

When our cat had a sudden dental emergency, we called everywhere in town trying to find help. The Rainier team was the only one able to fit us in the same morning—and they truly went above and beyond to care for our kitty! Everyone was kind, responsive, and professional, and they made sure she had the best pain management plan possible. We’re so grateful for their exceptional service and genuine compassion!
