🐾💜 A whole lot of love for a whole lot of AMAZING people! 💜🐾

As Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week comes to a close, we`re feeling extra grateful (and perhaps a little extra full of cookies 🍪) here at Rainier Veterinary Hospital!

Although October 18–24 was officially dedicated to veterinary technicians, we believe our ENTIRE team deserves to be celebrated. From our talented technicians and compassionate veterinary assistants to our incredible client care coordinators and amazing support staff, every single person plays a part in making Rainier Vet such a special place for pets, their people, and each other. ❤️

And WOW, did we celebrate! 🎉

🍪 Sweet treats galore! Crumbl cookies, candy, donuts, ice cream, and a homemade pie from VA Rolla!

🍜 Food, glorious food! Multiple delicious lunches, including homemade bok choy soup from Practice Manager Angie!

🎁 Swag-tastic surprises! Fanny packs, pens, bags, and plenty of goodies!

🏆 A little friendly competition! From the cotton ball E-collar challenge to seeing who could draw up exactly 1 mL while blindfolded — because apparently, we can`t resist putting our skills to the test!

A HUGE thank-you to Zoetis, Nutramax, Hill`s, and Royal Canin for helping us spoil our team!

But the biggest thank-you of all goes to OUR PEOPLE. 💜

Your compassion, dedication, expertise, humor, and heart make a difference every single day. You comfort frightened pets, support worried families, celebrate victories, navigate tough moments, and show up for one another through it all.

We appreciate you more than words (or cookies!) can express. 🐾❤️

Happy #Caturday everyone! This cutie is Baby Cat, a very sweet and super soft 11-year-old Manx calico, and one of the best seniors we have the pleasure of caring for! ♥️

She came in for her Senior Wellness exam and did wonderfully for her blood draw in the arms of our Veterinary Assistant Jessica.

Senior wellness visits help us spot changes early, often before your cat shows any signs. Routine bloodwork gives us a closer look at your pet’s health, helping kitties like Baby Cat stay happy and comfy for years to come! 🐾

New patient alert!! 🐕🦴

Meet 8-month-old Snuffy! This big-little guy came in to establish care with our team and get an exam on his big blue eyes, which had been a little runny. 👀 He was a shy guy for his first visit, but did great for his exam with Dr. Han. (As you can see, he was literally in great hands!)

We can already tell what a sweet puppy he is, and we’re so excited to be his trusted care team! ♥️

It`s the last game of the season for the dogs — come out to see us and watch the @mariners play the @athletics at @tmobilepark ⚾🐶

The last Bark at the Park game is this Thursday, September 3, and you know we’ll be there. It’s sold out, but if you’ve got your ticket, we’d love to see you and your pup!

It’s been an honor and a joy to be the on-site veterinarian for the Seattle Mariners this season. 💙 We’ve loved meeting so many people, petting countless cute dogs, and seeing lots of familiar faces. These are just some of the wonderful pups we’ve gotten to know at our table this season! 🦴🧢

Do you have extra towels lying around or cluttering your linen closet? We’d LOVE to take them off your hands! 😍

Your unused towels are treasures to us! 💎They help us keep patients clean and comfortable throughout their visit. We are so appreciative of every member of our community who donates their old towels to our practice! 🐾

But right now, we’re running low! So we’re asking anyone with extra clean, gently used towels to please drop them off at our practice. We’re open 7 days a week from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and 8 am to 5 pm on weekends. You can swing by to drop off anytime during business hours. Thank you so much for your continued support !! ♥️

It’s National Take Your Cat to the Vet Day, but you know we celebrate this every day, all year round! 🐈🩺

13-year-old Boris is a great representation of today’s holiday, and proof that bringing your cat to the vet throughout every stage of life helps them live long, happy, healthy lives! Boris came in for dental care and was wearing the cutest donut accessory on his collar! 🍩

Your cat may not be a big fan of the experience, but vet visits help your cat thrive in the long term! If it’s been a while since your cat’s last check-up or dental work, schedule an appointment to get their health back on track! 🐱♥️
