Dog of the Month: November 2016
Our November Dog of the Month, Lola, is just about six months old, and she’s already had major surgery. She’s a fighter and has the spirit of the wolf, even though she’s just 6 pounds.

Our October Dog of the Month, Patronus, is a 3-year-old English Mastiff who loves string cheese, her family, and little kids—in that order. Note: Fetching was not on the list.
Our September Dog of the Month, Dakota, is a 15-year-old Rottweiler-Chow mix who loves to eat, go on walks, travel, and dress in costumes. And you might say that Dakota rescued his owner as much as she rescued him.
Meet our August Dogs of the Month! Archie is a Corgi-Chihuahua, and Charlotte is a Staffordshire bull terrier. The two pups are loved and adored by their owners, love to sleep, love people, and (mostly) love each other.
Joe and Margo, three-year-old Great Dane mixes and siblings, were adopted as a pair and have been named July’s Dog of the Month in the same fashion.
The first month’s honor of our special new program goes to Ozo, a 12-year-old black lab/Great Dane mix who needed a splenectomy.
Congratulations on your new puppy! To make sure your new furry friend lives a long and healthy life, we’ve put together a quick guide to medical, food, and social needs to get you started on the right foot.
