Amanda
Client Care Coordinator
Amanda joined Rainier Veterinary Hospital as a Client Care Coordinator in April 2025. With a deeply rooted passion for animals and a background in human medicine, they are thrilled to work in an environment where they can help both people and pets. Amanda’s decision to follow a veterinary career path was influenced by the loss of her beloved dog at the age of 6 to immune-mediated polyarthritis. Their past experiences with animals and the love they have for all their pets shape the way they show up at work each day with compassion and an eagerness to help dogs, cats, and their owners.
Amanda brings a calm professionalism to our practice and always lends a listening ear to our clients. “Every day is something different and an opportunity to learn,” shared Amanda. They enjoy working alongside a team of fantastic doctors and veterinary professionals and are proud to be a part of the group behind the Rainier Animal Fund free clinics. She hopes to take opportunities to grow alongside our team and work toward a VA and LVT.
Education
Amanda graduated from Eastlake High School and studied Environmental and Terrestrial Resource Management at the University of Washington.
Volunteer Work
Amanda volunteered with Lions Camp Horizon for six summers, helping cook and serve food for campers with disabilities.
Home Life
When they’re not at work, Amanda can be found caring for her three dogs: 16-year-old Napolean the Yorkie, 2-year-old Tatsu the Husky-mix, and 1-year-old Banana the Dachshund-mix. She loves taking Napoleon to the park for birdwatching and taking energetic Tatsu on walks, hikes, bike rides, and to the beach. Amanda also enjoys swimming, fishing, knitting, crocheting, and all things dogs.
