Dr. Katie Pruett

VMD

Dr. Katie Pruett joined our team in September 2025, but she has been working in veterinary medicine since 2019. With a passion for all animals, she has extensive experience in providing exceptional care for cats, dogs, pocket pets, and farm animals. Growing up working on local farms with livestock piqued her early interest in farm animal welfare that grew into a blossoming career in veterinary medicine.

Energetic and upbeat, Dr. Pruett is committed to creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Her background in emergency veterinary medicine allows her to remain calm in any situation and work efficiently and quickly to find solutions. She is especially passionate about soft tissue surgery and brings her unique expertise working with a variety of animals to our hospital.

Dr. Pruett is thrilled to be part of a team that serves pets and owners in her own community. She views each day as an opportunity to grow and hone her skills. “I love that I learn something new every day, and appreciate the relationships I build with my clients and patients,” she shared. She believes in the power of spreading positive energy and always works to maintain a fun and collaborative work environment. She is also committed to listening to her clients’ concerns and taking her time to explain recommendations and options to help create the best possible outcome for every patient.
