As both an animal-lover and a people-person, Dr. Beisswanger equally enjoys connecting with her clients and patients. She is especially invested in preventative medicine, dentistry, dermatology, and gastrointestinal disease.

“Every day is different!” shared Dr. Beisswanger. “You never know what each day will bring, and what you will learn from it. I love that I can continue learning throughout this profession, all while working alongside a supportive team.”

From complex cases to routine exams, Dr. Beisswanger enjoys working collaboratively, both with her team of dedicated veterinary professionals but also with pet owners. Her empathetic, solution-oriented, and realistic approach, as well as her emphasis on preventative care education, help her connect with pet owners to ensure the best care to keep their pets healthy and thriving.

Volunteer Work

Dr. Beisswanger began volunteering with animals in February 2014 when she helped students with disabilities at the Therapeutic Riding Center in Huntington Beach. Since then, she has helped countless humans and many different species of animals. She cared for wild animals while working with the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colo., and assisted with birds of prey at the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program in Fort Collins, Colo.  At PetsForever, she walked dogs for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities. Her robust volunteer experience left a lasting impact that adds to the compassionate care she gives to every dog and cat she meets.

Home Life

When she’s not helping animals, Dr. Beisswanger can be found exploring the great outdoors. She loves hiking, camping, and adventuring all over Washington. She also enjoys trying new foods, solving puzzles, and traveling.
