Conrad Kornmann
DVM
A native to Washington state, Dr. Conrad Kornmann has been practicing veterinary medicine in the greater Seattle area for more than 20 years. During this time, he has continued to work on honing his skills as a general practitioner with a focus on nutrition, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care — experience and skills he now brings to our team of dedicated veterinary professionals at Rainier Veterinary Hospital.
“I have been around animals my entire life and, on top of that, have always been drawn toward the sciences academically,” shared Dr. Kornmann. “Veterinary medicine truly was the perfect fit and a career I have been passionate about since.”
Continued Dr. Kornmann, “What is so rewarding about this profession is the exploration of the human animal bond and the relationships we build with our patients. Each day is different and each day we are given the opportunity to make a difference.”
Dr. Kornmann’s specific areas of interest in veterinary medicine include gastrointestinal disease and how nutrition and the gut flora affect the immune system.

He also is an avid cyclist commuting to work by bike and participating in bike racing whenever he can.
