Miranda

LVT

Continuing her decade’s worth of experience in veterinary medicine, Miranda’s unwavering love for helping animals brought her to Rainier Veterinary Hospital in 2023. Her demonstrated surgical expertise, devoted advocacy for our patients, empathy toward our clients, and commitment to our team members’ well-being make Miranda an invaluable addition to our team!

Since becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2014, Miranda has practiced at five different hospitals in the Greater Puget Sound area as well as VCA Regional Institue of Veterinary Emergencies and Referrals in Chattanooga, Tenn. Miranda’s role at each hospital focused on critical care and helped to evolve her leadership and emergency problem-solving skillset.

Miranda is an enthusiastic team player who believes in overcommunication to assess all possible angles and potential blindspots when determining each patient’s course of treatment.

“The variety of cases we see in the ER, watching animals heal, and being a part of a community of compassionate, kind, selfless advocates for animals inspires me to do this work every day,” Miranda shared.

Field Accomplishments

In her ER LVT position at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Renton, Wash., just before starting with us, Miranda was elected the hospital Wellness Ambassador.
