Lead, VMC, Veterinary Assistant
Symone joined the Rainier Veterinary Hospital team in 2018 after completing her veterinary assistant certification at PIMA Medical Institute. During her time at Rainier Veterinary Hospital, Symone has become our “go to” surgical assistant and all around most proficient trainer and team leader thus her promotion to Lead Veterinary Assistant. Her goal is to continue down this path and is in the progress of pursuing her licensed veterinary technician degree through Penn Foster College.
“When I moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Seattle in 2016, I had one dream,” shared Symone. “That was to make my dream of working in veterinary medicine come true. Now I get to start each day knowing I am making a difference in the lives of so many pets and their owners.”

Home Life:
Symone has two big passions; music (Stevie Wonder tops the list, but she loves all kinds) and fine wine (Chardonnay is her favorite). Meanwhile, her home is filled with lots of activity due to her three rambunctious cats, Coty, Lila and Peso, and her bold pup Money Matthias. True to form, they are keeping her and her husband Kevin on their toes.
